The government spending in the first two months of the current fiscal year remained 7.49 per cent of the total allocation.

However, the capital expenditure of the government was just 2.7 per cent in the months of Shrawan (mid-July to mid-August) and Bhadra (mid-August to mid-September) of the total allocation of Rs 302.07 billion.

Likewise, the expenditure for financial management amounted to Rs 35.51 billion in the first two months, which was 11.49 per cent of the annual target. The government has allocated Rs 307.45 billion for the financial management expenditure.

Similarly, the revenue collection during the period was 10.47 per cent of the total annual target. Of the target of Rs 1,472 billion for the current fiscal year, the revenue collection stood at Rs 154.23 billion during the review period.
